Photographing a mama-to-be is always an honor. You can feel the excitement and anticipation. The wonder of what may be. What will baby look like? What will he or she do in life? How are things about to change?
I was so thrilled to welcome Haley in to my Overland Park, Kansas photography studio. We had met a few weeks prior to her maternity session, when she came by to try on dresses from my extensive Client Wardrobe. I helped guide her during the try-on, and we discussed the details of her maternity photo shoot. She visited one of my recommended hair & make-up artists prior to our session, making the experience that much more special.
She ultimately chose a couple of gorgeous gowns. We also were able to capture beautiful intimate maternity shots with a couple of belly-baring looks.
Intimate maternity photography is my ultimate favorite session to photograph, so I am always thrilled when mamas want to capture their growing bellies. The special, unique bond and deep connection to the life that they are growing is truly something magical.
