Highly recommend Melanie for family portraits. We did a 3 session membership with her taking place in her studio, a greenhouse, and an outdoor session - her photos were consistent in every session and she does such an amazing job at managing to capture our young family with a baby and toddler. The best part is she takes the stress off of moms/families and provides clothes/wardrobe options for all members of the family (moms, dads, boys, girls, babies) AND provides hair and makeup for the moms! I can't say enough good things about her business, consistency, great personality (she's amazing at working with kids), and offerings!
Cannot recommend Melanie enough. You really do get what you pay for. Melanie took the time to call me before we even scheduled and asked exactly what I was looking for in our photos and if there were any shots that I wanted to prioritize. She was so communicative with us every step of the way and really laid everything out nicely in an e-mail so I wouldn’t forget while we were in our newborn dog (what time to arrive, when we would select outfits, etc etc). Her hair and makeup artist, Audra was amazing. She was so easy to talk to and did such an amazing job. I still looked like myself but more elevated. The client wardrobe also had so many great selections!
When it came to actually having our photos done, it was super relaxing and Melanie made it fun for our older two girls and had alllllll of the patience. She has so many tricks up her sleeve and our photos came out so beautifully and they are exactly what I had envisioned!
Melanie does an incredible job from start to finish. She took care of absolutely every detail to ensure our family had a positive experience and beautiful photos! Hair and make-up for me, wardrobe for the family, bows for our girls’ hair, snacks and coffee! She made the process fun for our energetic 2-year-old while capturing priceless pictures. We love the videos she created, and our kids watch the video frame constantly. The professional installation of the products we ordered was an amazing perk too! I’m so glad we decided on the first year membership and I recommend her to anyone who will listen.
This was the first time my baby boy and i have gotten professional pictures done and I am so happy we went with Melanie! She is absolutely amazing. She will be my family photographer for a lifetime! She genuinely cares for her clients and makes you feel so welcomed! You go into these things not knowing what to expect & she set the bar super high!!!!!
