I chat with all of my clients on the phone before booking to go through all of the details and make sure we're a great fit. It's a time to go through any questions you may have and talk about goals for your session.

We'll nail down a date and location for your session, and begin planning wardrobe for your family. My curated client wardrobe includes items for the whole family - over 75 dresses for women alone! I also have shirts for men, and outfits for babies and children.
I help you through this process, making sure your family looks perfectly coordinated for your photos.
With complimentary professional hair and makeup by my talented team and the help of my amazing client wardrobe, you will look (and feel!) beautiful in your portraits. It will be the least stressful portrait experience you've ever had.
3. Your Session!
You'll be welcomed back to the studio to view your beautiful images for the first time. During this appointment, we'll work together to create custom artwork for your home.
Create a custom gallery wall to grow with your family, or an heirloom album to enjoy with your children for years to come. You can also purchase digital files at this time.
4. Design & ordering Appointment
My job isn't done until your portraits are hanging on your walls. This is why I offer complimentary installation on gallery walls. One less chore for my busy clients to handle on their own!

We know your time is valuable. That is why we handle all of the details for you - from start to finish. Our process was designed to take all of the chores off of your plate. We document your treasured moments and create beautiful artwork for your home. All you have to do is show up.
Melanie has a true talent for capturing family moments! We have done two newborn sessions, one maternity, and one family session with her and have been SO pleased. Her editing is absolutely gorgeous and she is so great with kiddos! She handled our toddler like a champ!
You also can't beat her client wardrobe- highly recommend. Even when you feel not so camera ready after having a baby she will make you feel beautiful! Love her work!
Melanie was a dream to work with! We booked a newborn shoot and could not be happier with our photos or the entire experience. Melanie is professional, kind and very responsive. From beginning to end, the process was thoughtfully laid out and stress-free. I loved having the option to get my hair and makeup professionally done and also to pick out a dress from her client closet.

Melanie is a fantastic newborn and family photographer! She's very responsive and professional when it comes to scheduling and answering questions. Her client wardrobe/makeup services are such an awesome add-on and so helpful for a sleep deprived mom. We did newborn family pictures, which included my very active toddler, and Melanie used many tricks (and snacks) to get great shots of everyone!
She makes the whole experience laid back, fun, and EASY. Lastly, her photos are so beautiful. She selected photos and created a beautiful, keepsake album - the quality is amazing. I highly recommend Melanie for newborn and family photos!
Melanie was absolutely amazing to work with! She made us feel so comfortable and perfectly captured our growing family. Being postpartum is not the most glamorous time, but Melanie made me feel beautiful and comfortable throughout the shoot.
