If you’re a parent of toddlers in Overland Park, Kansas, this post is for you! Our city offers so many engaging and kid-friendly experiences – I wanted to share just a few of my family’s favorites. Let’s dive into my 3 favorite toddler activities in Overland Park, Kansas!
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead: Your little ones can interact with farm animals, feed baby goats, hop on a hayride, enjoy pony rides, and learn fascinating facts about farm life. It’s always a fun time, and even has a great playground. I suggest bringing a stroller or a wagon, since little feet may get tired here. They have concessions available, in case you need a snack or drink.
Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens: My kids always have the BEST time at the Arboretum! While the grounds are all beautiful and perfectly manicured, our favorites are the train garden (I mean is there anything better!?) and the pond. There is also a fun indoor kids area set up with coloring pages and toys that is perfect for toddlers and young kids.
Museum at Prairiefire: This interactive museum takes your children on an exploration of science, natural history, and cultural heritage. Their children’s room is a great place to spend a morning digging for fossils and exploring all types of animals. If your kiddos are dino-lovers, this is the place for them!
There are so many toddler activities in Overland Park – this is just a few that we love! We are thrilled to call this city home, and always looking for new activities to add to the list.
