What a fun time capturing maternity photos for these two! We totally lucked out with a beautiful night, even in July!
Courtney and I worked closely in the weeks prior to their maternity session to coordinate wardrobe. She selected favorites from my client wardrobe online catalog, and we met at my field location in Olathe, Kansas. I brought a handful of clean + steamed dresses to the session, along with accessories (hello, hats!) and a full-length mirror. She tried on & selected 2 looks. I love having some outfit variety in maternity sessions – it makes it so fun!
They came prepared with a variety of outfits and shoes for dad, so we were able to make some quick decisions based on mama’s dress selection. It’s always good to bring options!
Lucky for us, wildflowers were in bloom – so we had two gorgeous settings to work with! Next up is baby! Can’t wait to capture their first moments with baby at their newborn session next month at my Overland Park, Kansas photography studio.
